How

Once you are registered, you may add a comment by clicking on the word “Comments” at the end of each post.

Why
Why do we ask you to register to add comments?

Unfortunately, there are elements in our society and on the web that wish to intrude into more civilized discourse. In fact, there are programs that attempt to insert messages and advertisements into web logs such as this one. Fortunately, suppliers of the programs, such as Word Press, has supplied us with a means of keeping such messages off our web log. The method, in our case, requires you to register with a name and a password before a comment may be posted.

Additionally, our authors must review any messages before they are posted. For the moment, we are only accepting messages from persons that are registered. We may restrict registration even further if necessary.

Security
Any information you supply in the form of name, password, and/or email address will not be intentianally distributed or sold by the owners of this site. Obviously, your comments or articals are public and cannot be protected.

The programs, procedures, and templates reside on the computer hosting gspc-gwinnett.org and not on a third party service like MSN, MySpace, or the like, further securing your information.

To Register

  1. Click on Home at Top of Page
  2. Click on the link “Register” under Meta. The heading will be in the narrow column on the left or right depending on the selected theme but only on the home page.
  3. Follow instructions.

If you wish, you may use an alias for your name to simplify your log-in, or wish to be anonymous on the web log. Your full name will not be published. You must enter a valid email address because WordPress needs a location to send you an initial password. Note that we do not know your pass word nor have the provisions to keep it in the form you enter it. It is encrypted in the data base and there is no way for us to interpreted it.
